How do I schedule a Leaping Lizards party?
We offer convenient on-line party booking or you can call us at 913-782-LZRD (5973) and we’d be happy to help you book your party! We require a $100 non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation – either charged to your credit card or a cash deposit brought to our facility – sorry NO checks are accepted. The balance of your party and any extras you may purchase (such as pizza, goodie bags, etc.) can be paid the day of the party.
How many guests can I invite to my party?
We offer three different sized party packages to accommodate your needs. The Mini Lizard party is for up to 12 guests plus the birthday child, or you can choose the Super Lizard or Mega Lizard 20 parties which are for up to 20 guests plus the birthday child. In addition we offer the Mega Lizard 25 party which is for up to 25 guests plus the birthday child. If you have more guests than are included with your party, it’s no problem! Each additional guest is welcome for just $10/each.Do adults count towards my guest total?
No, only children age 2-17 count toward your guest total. You may want to check with your guests if they are planning on staying and are bringing siblings of invited guests – this may make you unknowingly exceed the guest count.What is your cancellation policy?
Party must be cancelled with a minimum of 14 days advance notice to be rescheduled, otherwise party deposit may be forfeited. Deposits are non-refundable, but parties may be rescheduled within 3 months of original party date for no additional charge. As always, your business is important to us, so we will do our best to work with you on any cancellation.Will a Leaping Lizards staff member help me during the party?
Absolutely! Our motto is “No muss, no fuss, just leave it to us!”. Each party has a party host who will set up the party room, guide the party from welcoming your guests to playing in the arena to being in the party room, and clean up after the party. In addition, there will be additional staff members available to serve you in the arena and at the front desk.Do parents need to stay while their child is at a party?
Only the parents of the birthday guest of honor are required to stay during the party. However, all parents are welcome to stay while their children play at the party!
Do parents need to stay while their child plays during open play?
YES! Open Play is parent-supervised, so parents or legal guardians are required to stay. Absolutely no drop-offs are allowed during Open Play.
What are the safety rules for playing at Leaping Lizards?
- Have fun!
- No running in the arena
- No gum allowed in the facility
- One at a time and feet first only on the slides (no parents sliding with children on their laps)
- Socks are required at all times
- Stay on the designated course of inflatables (for example, no climbing on outside walls of inflatables or jumping on or over inflatable walls)
- Listen to Leaping Lizards staff at all times
- No fighting, wrestling, or throwing things at each other
- Adults and children should not bounce at the same time (parents are welcome to sit with their child while the child is bouncing, but may not jump at the same time as their child)
- Be safe! If you wouldn’t do something at home, don’t do it here!
When should I arrive at my party?
We recommend that the birthday child arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled party time. We also recommend that you put the start of the party time on the invitation for 5-10 minutes prior to the actual start time of the party. We find that works best for getting the waiver collected, going over the safety rules, ensuring everyone has socks, and getting the maximum play time in the arena!Can my child play in the arena after the scheduled party time is over?
Unfortunately, children are not allowed to re-enter the arena after their scheduled party time is over.I’d like to bring my group to play at Leaping Lizards – are there any group discounts?
Absolutely! For groups of 10 or more, we offer a discounted admission rate of $6/child age 2-17 during Open Play time. Your group MUST check-in AT THE SAME TIME to receive this discount. If you are bringing a group larger than 15, we recommend that you call in advance to let us know that you are coming and to make sure that we can accommodate your group. You also have the option of reserving the entire facility for large groups. You bet! We stagger our party times so party groups are not all arriving and leaving at the same time. In addition, your birthday child and his friends will have access to ALL inflatables during the arena portion of their party – no moving to another room which may not be as fun halfway during the party! And with 9 inflatables available to play on and a TODDLER area there is plenty to do to keep your birthday child and guests entertained!
